Why are energy drinks so popular?

The world moves much faster than decades ago. Of course, not literally faster but certainly faster for most people. As a result, our life moves much faster. Busy lifestyles and hectic schedules require more energy from our bodies and often reduce the duration of sleep. So so many people started relying on energy drinks to help them during the day. The popular brands of such drinks are consumed millions of times a day throughout America, Europe, Asia and almost everywhere in the world.

Energy consumption statistics are surprising. One type of energy drink, called "5 hour energy", is consumed more than three million times a day in the United States. This does not include consumption in other countries. So why is this the latest energy obsession?

First of all, let's understand that human human trust in caffeine is nothing new. This is not a recent phenomenon or a puzzle that has just recognized the fast-paced lifestyle. In fact, caffeine found in these energy drinks is exactly the same as caffeine found in the average coffee beans – except for higher levels. Not to mention that carbonated soft drinks and tea also include this addictive ingredient.

The fact that we are so sad and rushed these days will get us a decaffeinated drink like before. If we feel that we are completely exhausted and we can not keep up, we will get to a decaffeinated drink to give us the sudden boost of energy. Certainly this is not the healthiest choice, but we often find the fastest solution to the problem when we meet energy and strength.

It is estimated that adults are average in the United States recently dropped to 8 1/2 hours per night for 6 1/2 hours. This is an amazing drop and probably the number of energy shortages that many have experienced. Energy drinks help fill this gap if energy is low. Despite the fact that the momentum from these drinks is not durable, it is usually enough time to reach them. And for many of us, it's easier for a caffeine-spicy drink than trying to change the sleep schedule to have at least 1 1/2 hours or more sleep every night.

Instead of having more sleep every night or drinking alcoholic beverages, there is a health-wise thing we can do to increase energy throughout the day. Start drinking as much water as you can and stop "energy drinks". The body desires water and operates at a higher level in a fully hydrated state. You will find that when you drink more water every day, you will see your energy level rise, you will feel alert and have increased stamina during the day. Water will increase energy levels naturally and will not face caffeine addiction.
