At first glance, martial arts and yoga seem to be opposite forces and philosophies, but these two health systems are much more common than the eye. For a moment, consider the similarities between Tai Chi and Hatha yoga. During warming, you will notice very similar movements, philosophy and principles.

That is why all martial arts schools should encourage a yoga class. The healing aspect of yoga is very beneficial for all martial artists, regardless of their style. Some karate and kung fu centers have introduced yoga as part of the classroom. This is because it attracts moms in the waiting area to pick up their children.

Although women's yoga classes are needed, some male and female martial artists join to feel the healing benefits, meditation, increasing flexibility, and much more. The fact that like martial arts there are many kinds of yoga.

Some are very physical and require a lot of stamina. So there is no end to the opportunities where yoga needs fit into a karate or kung fu studio. After all these years, yoga and martial arts seem to come together again.
