Chair Yoga Case Study – No More Chronic Neck Pain

Franklin Mark

After studying Yoga for several years, Liz Franklin can prove that this is almost suitable for anyone even if they feel old or have physical barriers . Not the hard-bodied 20s who think of poses that seem impossible – the only prerequisite for sitting in a chair, including a wheelchair.

What better way to illustrate how a yoga yoga chair has got them can not attend a traditional yoga class than to say in their own words?

Hi! I'm Sherri Evert. I am a 63 year old retired business partner. In March, I began practicing yoga. For many years I practiced yoga. My back has a problem, and most of the other classes I've found are strictly physical exercise. If I could not reach the "perfect poses" I felt like I did not do it properly.

I noticed classes when I saw an acupuncturist in arthritis at my neck. For a while I was in constant pain and was willing to try almost everything to relieve. While acupuncture was relieved, it was only temporary. When one day I left the acupuncture office, I noticed a group of smiling women leaving their yoga classes. I thought I would feel good with this group because they were close to my hair. I wanted to see if my own body would help cervical pain with yoga. [2] Cervical pain disappeared within 2 months of yoga. I also had a low back pain problem and tried to heal many opportunities. The relaxation section of classes and videos has liberated the pain. I know my posture much better. In class, Liz helps to show our body in posture and is aware of the benefits. Now I use yoga poses in class with videos, as a personal "box of tools" for my body care. In my power, I have also remarkably strengthened my arms and feet.

I appreciate that Liz is doing so hard work to help us reach the relationship between mind / body / spirit. The meditative experience of my classes is on my day. I will try to attend her two hours each week and use her videos if I can not personally attend. I feel as if the class of meditation was in motion, and I also enjoyed the feeling of community that is part of class consciousness. It works to help us to be present at the moment. It also tells us how important each post is to help us understand why we are doing poses.

If you're in a class to join or buy (some) videos to make sure the clock, I do not think it's time to get more benefits, including higher energy levels, a relaxed mind, and a peaceful spirit. I'm glad you did this for yourself and the benefits are transferred to the whole family and friends circle. "
